Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan – Funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU

About the Incentive Programme

This project is part of the incentive programme for self-consumption and energy storage using renewable energy sources, regulated by Royal Decree 477/2021 of 29 June, approved by the Council of Ministers at the proposal of the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge.

This programme aims to promote the deployment of renewable energy in both the electrical and thermal sectors, encourage energy self-consumption, support the integration of behind-the-meter storage systems, and contribute to the modernization of the productive sector through more efficient, sustainable, and competitive energy solutions.

The action carried out by the beneficiary entity is framed within the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, a strategic instrument of the Spanish Government to channel European funds aimed at economic recovery.

The project is funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU through the Recovery and Resilience Facility (EU Regulation 2021/241), whose objective is to accelerate the ecological transition, strengthen economic and social resilience, and move towards a decarbonized energy model based on distributed generation, self-consumption, and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.

Through this initiative, a direct contribution is made to achieving national and European energy and climate targets, promoting the integration of renewable energy into the electricity system, reducing external energy dependency, and supporting environmental sustainability.
